Er zat een envelop in de bus gisteren. T. van Simple Sparrow stuurde me zomaar een tas die ze zelf gemaakt had. Erin zaten, in vloeipapier, een boekenleggger, wat stofstalen, een lintje, snoepjes en een lief briefje. De tas is echt geweldig - helemaal precies goed voor boterhammen en vruchtensap als je gaat fietsen, of voor kastanjes en beukenootjes die je vindt in het bos, of voor dat ene boek dat je meeneemt in het vliegtuig, of...
Lief he.
Zoiets maakt nou mijn hele dag.
There was an envelope in the mail yesterday. T of Simple Sparrow sent me a little tote bag she made. In it were a bookmark, some fabric, a ribbon, candy and a note. The bag is so pretty. Just perfect for bringing along a sandwich and a bottle of water when you go biking. Or for the chestnuts and pine cones you find when you hike in the woods. Or that one book that you want to bring along to wherever.
Isn't that just sweet.
It totally made my day.

(And Fransie ... does it ever occur to you that most people aren't the recipients of so many random acts of kindness? ... by which I mean to say, do you suppose it's not random but rather a reaction to who you are in this world?)
